Hallandale Beach Transportation Master Plan

The Broward MPO is providing technical assistance to the City of Hallandale Beach for the development of a citywide Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The purpose of the TMP is to identify community-driven, design-ready transportation projects that utilize best practices for six critical roadways in the City. The development of the TMP will include a multifaceted approach, including public engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders as well as technical analysis and policy discussions.

Please visit this website often for up-to-date information including the project schedule, information about public involvement opportunities, and copies of the data utilized to develop the TMP.

TMP Goals & Objectives

The Hallandale Beach TMP is centered on three Goals and supportive Objectives. The Goals and Objectives guide decision making throughout the development of the TMP. A copy of the Goals and Objectives is available here: Goals and Objectives

Plan Study Area

The Plan Study Area (“PSA”) is the six roadways that will have transportation projects identified in the TMP (including concepts, scopes-of-work, and planning-level cost estimates).

The PSA is comprised of six city-owned roadways, primarily located in neighborhoods, that are considered critical for safety, speed management, and multimodal improvements. The PSA was identified based on consistency with the TMP Vision, data review, and community engagement feedback, as well as the opportunity for quick build and near-term improvements. Information about the Plan Study area roadways is available here: PSA information.
