Project Concept Development
The Broward MPO is developing a Project Concept for NW 27 Av, from Atlantic Blvd to Hammondville Rd in the City of Pompano Beach.
The goal of the Broward MPO’s Project Concept program is to identify a locally supported conceptual design that provides safe and comfortable facilities for all roadway users. See the below map for the location of the roadway.

Goal:
The Goal of the NW 27 Av Project Concept is to enhance safety and improve connectivity throughout the corridor by (1) Installing improved light fixtures at intersections, (2) installing crosswalks, and (3) implementing safe routes to schools best practices.
Public Engagement:
Public engagement is a key component to identifying a locally supported conceptual design for the roadway. Community Meetings were held in March and June 2025 to identify residents and stakeholder concerns and priorities.
