Meet the Panelists

Elly du Pré, Executive Director, Lighthouse of Broward

Ms. du Pré has been working with people who are visually impaired or blind for over 40 years. She is involved in local, state and national organizations related to nonprofit leadership and providing quality innovative services to the blind population.

 

 

 

Chip LaMarca, Broward County Commissioner, District 4

Chip LaMarca is a lifelong resident of Broward County and founder of LaMarca Construction.  He was elected to the Lighthouse Point City Commission in 2005 and is proud to serve the people of District 4 as a Broward County Commissioner since 2010.  Chip has worked hard to improve Broward’s economy through job creation in his position on the Board of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. He is a dedicated member of the National Association of Counties and serves as Co-Chair of the Six Pillars project Steering 

Gregory Stuart, Executive Director, Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization

Gregory Stuart is the Chief Executive Officer of the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization and is responsible for all the functions under the direction of the MPO Board of Directors. Greg leads the executive management team while representing the Organization nationally, at the state level and within the region. He focuses on creating new partnerships while expanding existing partnerships.

Chris Walton, Director, Broward County Transportation Department

Chris Walton is Director of the Broward County Transportation Department, which includes Fleet Services and the Transit Division. The Transit Division is the second largest public transportation system in the state of Florida, consisting of over 500 vehicles and providing more than 41.5 million passenger trips annually. Transportation services include fixed-route, community bus, commuter express and Paratransit services.
