Elsewhere around the county, improvements are underway along Sheridan Street at Florida’s Turnpike, NE 26th Street in Wilton Manors, and Douglas Road/Pine Island Road in Pembroke Pines and Cooper City, with projects ranging from bridge and roadway work to new sidewalks and ADA improvements.

With construction activity happening throughout Broward, travelers are encouraged to plan ahead, watch for changing traffic patterns, and allow extra time when traveling through active work zones.
