Meet the Panelists

Sidney C. Calloway, Partner, Shutts & Bowen LLP

Sidney Calloway is a partner and Co-Chair of Shutts & Bowen Government Law Practice Group. He serves both public and private sector clients in cases involving land use and zoning, eminent domain, construction defects and others. He served on the Florida Transportation Commission from 2001 through 2009 and currently chairs the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce's Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.

 

James Cromar, Director of Planning, Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization

Mr. Cromar has over 20 years of professional experience, combining private and public sector experience with a focus on the integration of transportation and land use planning. After spending twelve years as a Denver-based consultant, James has been in South Florida since 2002, working as a planner at the municipal, County and MPO level. James directs the Planning activities of the Broward MPO with the goals of increasing the transportation options in our communities and leveraging public investments to improve quality of life.

Todd J Poole, President and Managing Principal, 4ward Planning Inc.

Todd Poole is president, founder and managing principal of 4ward Planning Inc. and has more than 22 years of economic development experience. Specifically, Todd has extensive experience in economic and real estate land-use planning. Areas of expertise include transit-oriented development, economic and fiscal impact analysis, regional transportation planning, and redevelopment and neighborhood revitalization.

 

Chris Wren, Executive Director, Ft Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority

Chris Wren has over 20 years of leadership in economic development and urban planning and over 30 years in the industry. Since Mr. Wren’s appointed position with the Downtown Development Authority in late 2002, he has been instrumental in his participation or programming in various initiatives such as The Wave Streetcar, Streetscape Capital Enhancements, The Federal Courthouse, The Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival, Urban Oasis, Utility Box Wraps and numerous others.
